Founders Heritage Park Nelson

In Nelson there’s a heritage park (like an open-air museum) where you can see more than just typical museum pieces. For example, there’s a gutted old airplane, a miniature train exhibition with a working model railway. The park usually hosts various festivals and events. There’s a restaurant, cafe, playground, miniature railway, and a local arts and crafts shop. A pleasant place for when you don’t want to go to the beach or do a big hike but want some outdoor activity with a few attractions.
