Hol is tartunk kerdezhetnetek. How quickly our childern learning english you would ask, after 8 month has been past from our arrival.
We have been worried the most about Reka, because back in Hungary she would have been gone a reading/writing focused school, where she would have learned to write in 2 years instead of 1. But as many of you predicted right now they have no issue to speak and understand english. Many team they are speaking hunglish even if they are playing with each other or with other hungarian kids.
They do not have any problem with this, even we are speaking with them like this time to time. I know we are lazy, and this is not the best practice on the long run, but this is what it is:)
Another question is that are they able to write right now? NO. only 3 quarter has been passed from our arrival, so we are more than happy their level right now because for example Greg would even started the school in Hungary yet. Of course if we are compering their levels with the New Zealand norms they are behind, but they will catch up soon:)
